A lazy tree load completed but the engine rejected its products (a child log referencing a manifest this runtime cannot serve, for example). impl From<SessionError> for EngineError unwraps it back to its type.

TreeContended(SessionId)

The tree of a root kept losing its read/install window to concurrent writers, or the load was retaken more times than the driver budget allows.
